Stanley and Lidstrom

As excited as we are about the hockey season starting, and Detroit being the team to beat again, this post isn’t about the Red Wing’s captain, nor about Lord Stanley’s Cup. It is about our puppies!
Stanley is now 6 1/2 months old, and Lidstrom is 5 1/2 months old. They are causing more and more mischief everyday. The neighbors have finally decided they like having the additional security, although recently one left a pair of sneakers on the roof, which is where we let the dogs run and… well, you know how dogs are. They were planning on selling the Nike shoes, so we sheepishly bought them from them. Thankfully, they are Anton’s size, and he needed a pair of running shoes anyways. Now that the dogs have “branded them” no one is going to try and steal them from us either.
The other day I let the dogs up to the roof to run, and they decided they were thirsty, and tried to come down for a drink. Well, as you can see from the picture, Lidstrom couldn’t quite make it through the bars. I had to turn her on her side and wriggle one leg through at a time. Needless to say she was a bit shaken up, and has decided to avoid the bars at all cost.
